One Fatally Struck in Pedestrian Collision near Palm Avenue

SAN BERNARDINO, CA (January 31, 2022) – On Friday evening, one person died in a pedestrian accident on Interstate 215.

California Highway Patrol officers responded to the northbound lanes of Interstate 215 near Palm Avenue around 8:22 p.m. after receiving reports about a pedestrian collision.

Furthermore, officials stated a vehicle struck and killed the pedestrian for reasons still not known. Responding medics found the individual and pronounced them dead at the scene.

Moreover, California Highway Patrol withheld the name of the victim until their next of kin is notified.

Meanwhile, the involved driver remained at the site and cooperated with the authorities. Investigators say no charges were filed following preliminary duties.
