Pedestrian Accident on East Willow Avenue Kills One Man

LONG BEACH, CA (October 25, 2021) An unidentified man lost his life last Sunday after a pedestrian accident on East Willow Avenue.

The incident happened around 7:50 p.m. October 17, near the 900 block of East Willow Avenue.

According to the CHP, a vehicle traveling along East Willow Avenue struck the man who was crossing along the street. Though, the events that led up to the crash remain unknown.

Responding emergency crews rushed the victim to a local hospital where, unfortunately, he later died.

Authorities are currently withholding his identity until next of kin is notified.

Moreover, at this time, authorities did not release any additional information, however an active investigation is underway.
