One Dead, One Hospitalized after 2-Car Accident on Wooley Road

OXNARD, CA (October 25, 2021) An 84-year-old man died and another man hospitalized after a two-vehicle collision on Victoria Avenue.

The fatal crash took place around 11:06 a.m., on October 18 along Victoria Avenue south of Wooley Road.

According to reports, a 2001 BMW 330i traveling south on Victoria collided with a 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee crossing Victoria traveling east.

Paramedics then rushed the driver of the Jeep, an 84-year-old Oxnard man, to Ventura County Medical Center with serious injuries. There, he later died from his wounds.

Meanwhile, the driver of the BMW, a 20-year-old Oxnard man, was taken to VCMC with moderate injuries. Officers added that he is now in a stable condition.

At this time, the officers are still currently investigating the two-vehicle crash on Victoria Avenue.
