Victim Pronounced Dead after Multi-Car Accident near Highway 111
LA QUINTA, CA (January 7, 2022) – A multi-vehicle collision on Dune Palm Road claimed the life of one person Wednesday night.
The incident happened around 10:29 p.m., on Dune Palm Road and Highway 111. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after.
At this time, the events leading up to the multi-vehicle collision remain unclear. However, paramedics responded and pronounced one person dead at the scene.
Additionally, another victim sustained minor injuries. Although, authorities have not released the identities of those involved.
The surrounding area was closed for a brief time during preliminary duties, but has since reopened.
At this time, La Quinta Officials are still currently working to identify the circumstances surrounding the multi-vehicle crash.
