58-Year-Old Man Hit and Killed in Motorcycle Collision on South Fair Avenue

YAKIMA, WA (October 7, 2021) A 58-year-old man lost his life in a motorcycle collision on South Fair Avenue near Kiwanis Park Saturday night.

According to Yakima Police, the victim was attempting to cross the street when a passing motorcycle struck him on South Fair Avenue.

Paramedics transported the pedestrian to the hospital, where he was eventually pronounced dead.

An autopsy has not been arranged, according to police, although the victim’s next of kin have been contacted.

Meanwhile, the motorcycle’s driver escaped unscathed.

At this time, police have not released any further information. However, an active investigation remains ongoing.
