Rider Pronounced Dead after Motorcycle Accident on First Street

LINCOLN, CA (April 20, 2022) – Saturday morning, medics pronounced dead one rider dead after a motorcycle collision on Hollingsworth Drive.

Lincoln Police arrived at the crash scene on First Street at Hollingsworth Drive at approximately 8:45 a.m.

Per reports, a Harley Davidson that was heading east on First Street from O Street collided with a westbound Toyota pickup-truck.

There, the Toyota driver attempted to turn left onto Hollingsworth Drive, directly into the path of the eastbound motorcycle. The rider attempted to avoid the collision, but the motorcycle hit the right side of the vehicle.

Despite life-saving efforts, the rider eventually succumbed to injuries at the scene. Meanwhile, the occupants of the Toyota did not sustain any injuries.

Meanwhile, crews shut down First Street for approximately three and a half hours after the crash while the officers cleared and investigated the scene.

Further details were not made available, but an active investigation is ongoing.
