Suspect at Large after Fatal Hit-and-Run Accident on McAllister Street

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (October 21, 2021)  An unidentified woman lost her life in a hit-and-run crash on Van Ness Avenue early Thursday morning.

The accident happened around 1:05 a.m., in the area of Van Ness Avenue and McAllister Street on October 14. Dispatchers responded to the scene shortly after.

At this time, investigators are uncertain what caused the collision. However, responding officers discovered the victim, a woman in her 30s, with serious injuries.

Paramedics then transported the woman to a hospital where she later died due to the extent of her condition.

Additionally, the suspect at fault did not render any aid and fled the scene immediately.
