Fatal Hit-And-Run in Rancho Cucamonga Leaves One Dead

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA (July 16, 2021) – Authorities are searching for the hit-and-run driver that killed one person on 10 Freeway, Tuesday.

The fatal incident happened around 2:13 a.m., on the San Bernardino (10) Freeway near 6th Street.

Upon arrival, CHP confirmed that one person succumbed to their injuries and was pronounced dead as a result of the crash.

However, the circumstances that led to the incident and the identity of the hit-and-run driver remains unclear.

California Highway Patrol closed down westbound Nos. 1, 2 and 3 lanes during cleanup and preliminary duties. But, the roadway has since reopened.
