Traffic Collision on State Route 67 Left One Fatality

RAMONA, CA (June 8, 2022) – Monday afternoon, a head-on crash on Mussey Grade Road left one person dead, police said.

At around 4:15 p.m., deputies responded to the accident where two cars crashed head-on along State Route 67 near Dos Picos County Park.

Furthermore, one person was pronounced dead at the scene while medics tended to another person with minor injuries. The deceased individual was only identified as a 90-year-old man at this time.

Moreover, another vehicle crashed onto the two cars as a result. Both directions of the roadway were temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.

An active investigation into the crash is currently underway. Additional information will be updated as it becomes available to the public.
