Firebaugh Avenue Head-On Collision Left One Fatality

FIREBAUGH, CA (November 4, 2021) A deadly head-on crash on Firebaugh Boulevard claimed the life of one person Thursday evening.

Officers responded to the incident around 7 p.m. near Avenue 7 1/2 just west of Firebaugh Boulevard.

According to the investigators, a Mazda driver veered into the path of an eastbound Ford for unknown reasons.

As a result, both vehicles collided head-on, and left the Mazda driver dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, paramedics transported the Ford driver to Community Regional Medical Center after suffering from a fractured leg.

At this time, Firebaugh officials are working to identify the circumstances surrounding the head-on crash.
