Freight Train Accident on Beyer Boulevard and Smythe Avenue Kills One Woman

SAN YSIDRO, CA (October 25, 2021) A woman in her fifties lost her life in a freight train accident on Beyer Boulevard early Friday morning.

The event occurred just after 2:00 a.m. on October 15 near Beyer Boulevard and Smythe Avenue.

The San Diego Police Department reported that the unidentified woman was struck by a train near Beyer Boulevard. Although the main cause of the accident is still unknown.

Officers arrived on the scene and pronounced the woman dead.

Authorities have no more information about the collision at this time. An active investigation, on the other hand, is underway.
