Truck Collision near Victory Boulevard Left One Fatality

LOS ANGELES, CA (January 31, 2022) – A fiery crash on North Canoga Avenue claimed the life of one person, early Friday morning.

Firefighters responded to the scene around 1:00 a.m., at the 6500 block of North Canoga Avenue, near Victory Boulevard.

At this time, the events leading up to the collision are unclear. However, reports indicate that private contractors arrived and removed one tanker truck that was on fire away from the scene.

Eventually, the occupant of the vehicle was pronounced dead on site. Authorities have not yet released the identities of those involved.

No further information about this fiery crash is available at this moment, more details will be released as it becomes available to the public.

Meanwhile, Los Angeles Officials closed Victory Boulevard and Canoga Avenue for an unknown duration because of the spill.
