Solo Car Crash on Palos Verdes Boulevard Left One Woman Killed, Another One Injured

REDONDO BEACH, CA (December 17, 2021) – A solo car crash on Palos Verdes Boulevard left a woman dead and another one hurt Wednesday morning.

The incident took place around 2 a.m. near the junction of Palos Verdes Boulevard and South Catalina Avenue.

According to the Redondo Beach Police Department, the Tesla car crashed into a light post under unclear circumstances and caught fire.

Officers located two women inside the Tesla. One of them was the driver and the other a passenger.

Afterwards, firefighters arrived and extinguished the flames but the driver sadly dead at the scene. Meanwhile, medics rendered aid to the passenger that sustained minor injuries.

CHP at this time withheld the names of both victims until their next of kin are notified.
