Victim Pronounced Dead after Fatal Hit-and-Run Collision in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES, CA (October 26, 2021) Police are investigating a deadly car crash on Nimitz Avenue that left one person dead.

According to the California Highway Patrol, they responded early Wednesday morning at 11500 Nimitz Avenue, where a minor car crash occurred.

Furthermore, one of the drivers attempted to escape the scene after they struck and killed a pedestrian.

The surrounding area was closed for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. Although, the road has since reopened to traffic.

At this time, the identities of the involved victims remains unknown according to authorities. West Los Angeles Officials are still currently investigating the car crash.
