Deadly Motorcycle vs. Bus Collision on SR-7 Left One Fatality

EATONVILLE, WA (August 22, 2023) – Saturday morning, a motorcyclist died following a motorcycle accident on State Route 7. According to Washington State Patrol Trooper John Dattilo, it occurred just after 10:00 p.m., August 12th, near Alder Cutoff Road East. Furthermore, Trooper Dattilo added that the vehicle involved was a bus driven by a man, and a motorcycle occupied by two people. Unfortunately, one of the occupants of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene, and the other occupant was hospitalized. In addition, the bus driver did not obtain any injuries, and he remained at the scene to cooperate. A portion of the roadway was temporarily shut down to allow cleanup and preliminary duties. Moreover, the circumstances that led to the fatal collision were not yet released by the investigators. An active investigation is still being held.
