Big Rig Accident on 10 Freeway Kills One Unknown Person

INDIO, CA (November 15, 2021) – One individual tragically died Wednesday after a big rig accident on 10 Freeway in Indio.

The California Highway Patrol reported the crash around 8:00 a.m. on eastbound 10 Freeway near Dillon MM67.

At this time, the cause of the crash is yet to know, however, responding officers stated one person died from the fatal collision.

In addition, the truck ended in a field in the side of the roadway.

At this time, authorities have not yet released a description of the vehicles or victims involved. However, an active investigation remains ongoing.

Indio police will released information once available.
