Highway Closed after Vehicle Crash on Highway 211

FERNDALE, CA (June 17, 2022) – A semi-truck collision on Salt River Bridge left one person with injuries Thursday afternoon.

The accident happened around 2:23 p.m., on Highway 211 just east of Ferndale at the Salt River Bridge. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after.

Reports indicate that a tractor and a vehicle collided in the area for reasons currently unknown. Consequently, medics responded to the scene and located one injured victim.

Meanwhile, traffic flow was disrupted and all lanes were blocked on HWY 211 to allow for cleanup.

At this time, an active investigation to determine further details is still currently underway.
