Metro-Train Collision on North Serra Highway Left One Hurt

LANCASTER, CA (March 11, 2022) – On Monday, a vehicle-train crash on Columbia Way left one person injured, authorities said.

The crash happened on Columbia Way and North Sierra Highway in Lancaster.

Furthermore, police said the train, number 212, was on the way from Lancaster to Los Angeles when it hit a vehicle.

Eventually, paramedics arrived around 9:20 a.m. and transported the victim to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries.

Meanwhile, no one aboard the train suffered injuries in the collision.

After the accident, the tracks were closed and the accommodations for the passengers was coordinated.

As of this time, no further details about the collision have been made available.
