Train Incident on West Evelyn Avenue Injures Female Pedestrian

SUNNYVALE, CA (December 10, 2021) – A train collision on West Evelyn Avenue station left a pedestrian injured Thursday morning.

According to reports, the collision happened just before 9:00 a.m., in the area of the Sunnyvale station on West Evelyn Avenue.

Sunnyvale Police claimed that train #108 was heading towards San Jose when it struck the pedestrian for unknown reasons.

Eventually, first responders arrived at the scene on West Evelyn Avenue and transported the victim to a hospital with unspecified injuries.

In addition, the southbound tracks remained blocked for about an hour before reopening around 10 a.m.

At this time, no further information has been released.
