Fiery Three-Vehicle Collision near Interstate 805 Left One Person Hospitalized

SAN DIEGO, CA (May 8, 2023) – Monday morning, police responded to a three-car crash on Miramar Road, police said. The incident happened on April 17th just before 7:00 a.m. near the on-ramp to northbound Interstate 805. According to the CHP, one truck and two vehicles were involved in the collision which left one person suffering serious injuries. Consequently, medics transported the injured person for the treatment of injuries. Investigation showed that the truck went off the road and caused a collision. One of the vehicles ended up being engulfed in flames. Furthermore, both directions of the roadway were temporarily shut down to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
