Rider Hurt in Traffic Accident on Pacific Coast Highway

MALIBU, CA (July 27, 2022) – Saturday afternoon, a scooter crash on Heathercliff Road left one person injured.

The crash happened on July 23rd, at around 1:52 p.m., near the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and Heathercliff Road.

According to initial reports, a person was riding a scooter along the road when a car pulled out in front of them. The scooter collided with the vehicle, causing the rider to fall. The rider sustained injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment of their wounds.

Meanwhile, the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.

Authorities closed one of the eastbound lanes of Pacific Coast Highway for about 20 minutes for cleanup and preliminary duties.
