One Rider Hurt in Traffic Crash near Capitol Hill Avenue

RENO, NV (August 12, 2022) – One unidentified individual sustained injuries after a scooter accident on Kirman Avenue Wednesday morning.

The incident happened in Kirman Avenue on the morning of August 3rd, per Reno Authorities.

According to reports, two individuals riding Bird scooters along Kirman Avenue. Meanwhile, a driver turned left onto Capitol Hill, striking one of them.

First responders arrived and rushed the injured rider to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries. At the same time, the driver remained and cooperated with the police.

A portion of the roadway was temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.

Authorities did not release any additional information at this time. However, the cause of the accident and the factors involved remain under investigation.
