Vehicle Accident on Highway 33 Left One Hospitalized

GUSTINE, CA (May 6, 2022) – One person sustained injuries after a police pursuit ended in a crash on Highway 140 Thursday evening.

The crash happened at the intersection of Highway 140 and Highway 33.

According to the report, the suspect’s vehicle possesses an expired registration.

However, the driver fled from the officers and the pursuit started.

Ultimately, the suspect’s vehicle crashed near the intersections of Highway 140 and 33 leaving one person injured and two damaged cars.

Afterward, the responding personnel airlifted the patient to a regional hospital for further treatment.

Furthermore, both directions of the roadway were temporarily closed down to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties, but has since reopened.
