Police Pursuit Ends in Crash along Grant Road

TUCSON, AZ (January 3, 2022) – Last Tuesday, authorities are investigating a police pursuit on Grant Road that resulted in an accident.

Officers attempted to pull over a vehicle near the junction of W. Grant Road and N. Highland Avenue.

A chase began on Fairview Avenue at around 1 p.m. and concluded shortly later near E. Grant Road and N. Highland Avenue, according to the department. Shortly after a TPD K9 caught the offender fleeing from his car, a man in his 30s.

According to police, the suspect suffered non-life threatening injuries and is being examined by doctors.

The cause of the collision is still unknown.
