The incident happened on April 8th, just before 10:30 a.m., on the 4500 block of Shepard Street. According to reports, a sedan was headed southbound on Shepard Street when it struck a pedestrian who was crossing the street outside of a crosswalk. The incident left the pedestrian with serious injuries. First responders to the site of the collision found the pedestrian in the road in critical condition.
