Pedestrian Accident on Planz Road Left One Hospitalized

BAKERSFIELD, CA (December 13, 2021) – At least one person suffered injuries after a pedestrian accident on Planz Road Saturday evening.

The incident occurred before 6:15 p.m., along Planz Road near South High School and South P Street.

Responding CHP officers located one victim with injuries after being hit by a vehicle. At this time, officers did not release any info about the vehicle and the driver.

Eventually, paramedics took the victim to a local hospital for treatment.  Authorities are yet to release the name or age of the person.

Bakersfield police ask any witnesses with information to call their local offices. Meantime, an active investigation is ongoing.
