CARLSBAD, CA (April 18, 2023) – Friday afternoon, a person was transported to a hospital following a multi-vehicle pile-up on Interstate 5. The incident happened on April 14th, at around 1:36 p.m. along northbound Interstate 5, near the Palomar Airport Road exit. According to the CHP, the crash involves at least three sedans, two vans, and a semi-truck. The impact of the collision left at least one person with injuries.
