Scooter Rider Hospitalized after Collision near Federal Avenue
LOS ANGELES, CA (October 27, 2021) – Police are asking for the public’s help in locating the driver involved in a hit-and-run crash on Rochester Avenue.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the collision occurred Sunday around 8:05 p.m. Emergency crews responded to the scene shortly after.
Per reports, the driver of a gray Toyota Camry was traveling west on Rochester and turned left onto southbound Federal Avenue. There, the driver struck the victim on an electric scooter.
As a result of the impact, the victim was ejected from the scooter onto the road. The driver of the Camry then fled the scene without rendering aid to the victim.
Paramedics arrived and transported the pedestrian to a local hospital with serious injuries.

At this time, officials have not released the identity of the victim involved.
