Traffic Accident near Laguna Canyon Road Blocked Lanes

LAGUNA BEACH, CA (May 3, 2022) – Monday morning, a car crash on State Route 73 left one person injured, police said.

The crash happened at southbound State route 73 near Laguna Canyon Road around 9:30 a.m.

Police said two cars crashed on the freeway near the Laguna Canyon Road off-ramp resulting in one person sustaining injuries.

The identity of the other victims has not yet been released, pending notification of next of kin.

Meanwhile, the incident also resulted in multiple lanes being closed to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
