Female Driver Injured in Semi-Truck Collision near Seal Beach Boulevard

SEAL BEACH, CA (November 9, 2022) – Friday afternoon, a woman was airlifted after a big-rig crash on 405 Freeway.

The incident happened around 12:39 p.m., along southbound 405, north of Seal Beach Boulevard on November 4th. 

For reasons under investigation, a big-rig overturned and landed on a 2015 Nissan Altima. As a result, the female driver of the Nissan became trapped inside the vehicle.

Medical crews arrived and extracted the 70-year-old woman driver from the Nissan. They then airlifted her to UC Irvine Medical Center for minor injuries. 

Meanwhile, the semi-truck driver remained unharmed in the accident.
