Victim Hurt in Auto Collision on Rosedale Highway

BAKERSFIELD, CA (July 1, 2022) – One unidentified victim was left with injuries following a 2-vehicle crash on Calloway Drive

The accident happened around 5:00 p.m., on Calloway Drive and Rosedale Highway involving a Kern County Fire Vehicle.

Police said a Kern County Fire Department battalion chief’s vehicle struck a white sedan at the intersection with its sirens and lights on.

The impact of the crash left the driver of the white sedan with minor injuries. Although, authorities have not yet released their name or place of residency.

At this time, Bakersfield Police are still currently working to identify the circumstances surrounding the crash. No further details regarding the collision are public; however, more information will be provided once made available.
