Intersection Closed after Pedestrian Accident on East Speedway Boulevard

TUCSON, AZ (January 11, 2022) – A major pedestrian crash on Wilmot Road left one individual injured Tuesday morning.

The crash happened near the junction of East Speedway Boulevard and North Wilmot Road.

Furthermore, paramedics transported one individual to a local hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.

Meanwhile, authorities temporarily closed the intersection for cleanup and preliminary duties.

Eventually, they reopened the intersection reopened just before 8 a.m.
