Traffic Collision near Modoc Avenue Left One Hospitalized

VISALIA, CA (August 25, 2022) – Early Friday morning, one person was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident on Demaree Street.

The crash happened just before 7:30 a.m., near the intersection of Demaree Street and Modoc Avenue, according to initial reports.

For reasons still under investigation, a northbound motorcyclist crashed into a black Tesla Model Y.

Medics arrived and transported the motorcyclist to a nearby hospital for treatment of major injuries. However, authorities have not yet released their name or current condition.

Furthermore, both directions of the roadway were temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties, but have since reopened.

Visalia Police continue to launch an active investigation into the motorcycle accident on Demaree Street.
