DUI Collision in Pacific Beach Neighborhood Left 30-Year-Old Man Injured

SAN DIEGO, CA (February 10, 2023) – Sunday evening, a suspected DUI crash in Mission Boulevard left one person hospitalized. According to the police, the incident happened around 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of 4300 Mission Boulevard and 800 Thomas Avenue in Pacific Beach. Reports said a Nissan Altima going southbound hit a 30-year-old male pedestrian crossing the intersection for an unknown reason. Eventually, paramedics arrived at the scene and transported the patient to a hospital with significant but non-life-threatening injuries. Meanwhile, authorities arrested the 60-year-old Altima driver for suspicion of DUI causing bodily injury.
