Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Deadly Collision near Ball Road

ANAHEIM, CA (September 21, 2022) – Early Monday morning, one victim was pronounced dead after a pedestrian accident on 57 Freeway.

The deadly incident happened around 5:15 a.m., near the Ball Road off-ramp.

According to California Highway Patrol, the driver of a vehicle struck a pedestrian who was walking on the southbound lanes of the freeway.

Emergency crews arrived at the scene shortly after and pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released their identity, pending notification of next of kin.

Meanwhile, the involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
