33-Year-Old Woman Killed in Rollover Collision near Shoup Avenue
LOS ANGELES, CA (October 20, 2022) – Early Wednesday morning, Bianca Ibarra was fatally injured in a speeding crash on 101 Freeway.
Police responded to the scene around 12:28 a.m., on the northbound lanes of the freeway near Shoup Avenue on October 19th.
Investigators say the driver of an SUV was traveling at high rates of speed when they lost control and struck the center divider. Amidst the chaos, a semi-truck also became involved.
Shortly after, the SUV then came to rest after overturning down a nearby embankment.
The impact of the collision left three people trapped inside the SUV. Medical personnel arrived and pronounced 33-year-old Ibarra dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, two other victims were transported to a local hospital for further treatment of their injuries.
