Fatal Semi-Truck Accident near 405 Freeway in Tukwila
TUKWILA, WA (September 21, 2021) – Sunday evening, one person was pronounced dead after a semi-truck collision on Interstate 5.
The crash took place just north of Interstate 405, as per report. However, the events leading up to the accident remain unclear.
Authorities say two vehicles, a pickup-truck and semi-truck were involved. In addition, at least one person succumbed to their injuries.
According to the authorities, all northbound lanes on Interstate 5 were temporarily rerouted. Although, the road has since been reopened to traffic.
Washington State Patrol troopers on the site provided no further information. At this time, the case is still under active investigation.
Once available, more information about the semi-truck accident will be released.
