One Pedestrian Killed in Deadly Collision near North Vermont Avenue

LOS ANGELES, CA (November 30, 2022) – Early Saturday morning, a pedestrian crash on the Hollywood Freeway left one person dead.

The incident happened around 12:18 a.m., along the northbound lanes of Hollywood Freeway near North Vermont Avenue. 

Upon arrival, units immediately located the severely injured victim lying on road. According to a witness, about two vehicles hit the victim. However, both drivers left the scene before officers arrived.

Medics arrived and pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene. Although, authorities have not yet released their identity. 

Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties before it was later reopened.
