One Killed in Two-Car Accident near Sierra Highway

PALMDALE, CA (August 24, 2022) – Monday afternoon, one victim was killed while another was hurt in a two-car collision on East Avenue O.

The crash happened on August 22nd, at around 1:20 p.m., at the 23000 block of East Avenue O, near Sierra Highway.

According to reports, two vehicles collided in the area causing one person to become trapped inside their vehicle.

Emergency crews were dispatched to the site of the incident shortly after. The Los Angeles County Fire Department extricated the person trapped inside their vehicle. Medics then transported the victim to a nearby hospital for further treatment. Meanwhile, the other victim was found nearby and pronounced dead at the scene.

At this time, Palmdale officials have not released the identity of the deceased victim, pending notification of next of kin. Furthermore, authorities are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the East Avenue O two-car collision.
