According to police, a man who was believed to be homeless and a Los Angeles Bureau of Sanitation vehicle was involved in the incident. Consequently, the investigation showed that the sanitation vehicle struck the homeless man while in a trash collecting service. Furthermore, the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
