Rider Dies after Motorcycle Accident on Greenfield and Brown Roads

MESA, AZ (March 2, 2023) – Monday night, a motorcyclist was pronounced dead following a motorcycle accident on Greenfield Road. On February 20th, officers were called into the area at around 6:00 p.m. involving a motorcycle and a vehicle. According to Mesa police, they arrived at the scene and pronounced the motorcyclist deceased. Meanwhile, the driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with the deputies. Furthermore, the intersection was blocked in all directions and motorists were advised to use Val Vista Road to go north and south and University to drive east or west. At this time, the identity of the rider was not yet determined, pending family notification. The cause of the crash was not yet identified and further investigation is still underway.
