Two-Vehicle Collision near Rio Vista Bridge Left Multiple Casualties

RIO VISTA, CA (November 21, 2022) – Thursday, one man was killed, and several people were hospitalized after a head-on crash on River Road.

Officers responded to the incident around 3:10 p.m. north of the Rio Vista Bridge.

According to the police, a sedan with a 13-year-old passenger collided with a mother driving a minivan with an infant and a toddler inside.

Furthermore, responding medical personnel transported all four passengers from both vehicles to a hospital with unspecified injuries.

Unfortunately, the male sedan driver was pronounced dead at the scene. However, his identity remains undisclosed, pending notification of next of kin.
