If you're not a soccer (okay, football) fan, it's not too late to catch 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa fever. Here's how: Pick up this month's Vanity Fair. Stare at the sculpted, naked torsos and talented packages of soccer (okay, football) stars Cristiano Ronaldo and Didier Drogba. Voila! After about 10 seconds, you're a soccer (okay, football) fan! But where will you watch the matches? Luckily for us, we live in a town where we can hobnob with arrogant Brits at pubs like Cock 'n' Bull (talk about appropriate), or belly up to many a bar with rabid Mexican fans. Says one hard-core soccer (okay, football) buff, “My best advice would be to find a Honduran place on the days that Honduras plays and show up about four hours before the match kicks off and plan to stay all day. Honduras hasn't been to the World Cup in 28 years — the Honduran fans will go apeshit.” The Weekly has prepared a list of bars to watch with fellow athletic supporters: https://www.laweekly.com/directory/world-cup-soccer-bars
