Traffic Accident on Union Street Left One Hospitalized

VICTORVILLE, CA (April 11, 2022) – Sunday afternoon, paramedics airlifted one person after a car crash on Seventh Street, police said.

Officers responded to the scene at about 5:15 p.m. near Union Street.

Furthermore, police said the crash involved a gold-colored 2000 Chevrolet HHR and a white Toyota Tacoma.

Moreover, the HHR sustained damage to the passenger side, and firefighters from Victorville City Fire had to remove the door to get to the patient inside.

Consequently, the patient was transported by ground ambulance to the landing pad at Victor Valley Global Medical Center and airlifted to a nearby trauma center.

Information regarding the identity of the person, as well as the extent of their injuries is currently unknown.

Meanwhile, the Victorville Police Department is handling the investigation at this time.
