Once Upon a Time in LA: What. A. Bill.

Goddamn, look at that list of talent. All in one place, this Saturday!

Once Upon a Time in LA takes place at the Banc of California Stadium this weekend, and it celebrates all that’s great about hip-hop, funk and soul. So Al Green, Snoop, 50 Cent, The Game, YG, Ice Cube, the Isley Brothers, Bone Thugs and Cypress Hill are joined by the contemporary talent of Drakeo the Ruler, Snow Tha Product, Bluebucksclan, Coyote, D3 and Day Sulan (and many more), plus funk and soul vets like War, George Clinton, Cameo and Morris Day (and many more). The list is endless — check it out below.

Day Sulan and D3 are part of YG’s 4Hunnid crew, and we spoke to all three of them when we put them on the cover in April.

“I really never had an older person giving me guidance,” YG told us. “I had my homies and shit. We were all learning the game and the business at the same time. That was that. But as far as somebody older, I never had that. I had Jeezy in like 2013. He became that person, a big bro giving me advice and all that… I like trying to help people and get people where they’re going. I feel like the energy and the culture – we’ve got that – but we haven’t had any crazy success yet. That’s the goal. We’re working towards that every day.”

“Me and G were actually friends before I even started doing music,” Sulan said. “We ended up linking through my old manager. He ended up pulling the strings, connecting the dots, and saying this is a really dope west coast artist. G was into it and from there it’s history.”

Once Upon a Time in LA takes place from 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 18 at the Banc of California & Exposition park. Get all the info here.
