Zero 7 is known for their trademark downbeat, atmospheric sound, but on their newest album, Yeah Ghost, the band continues to challenge expectation. The raspy soul vocals of Eska Mtungwazi on “Mr. McGee” and the jazzy instrumentation of “Medicine Man,” continue to redefine trip hop of the 21st century. Tonight the band visits the beautiful Orpheum theater. The show's sold out, so start your Craigslist bidding, or just watch the U.K. band play a set for Jason Bentley and the world on Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15.

Tune in now.

(Later we'll post the video of the performance, but enjoy these Zero 7 videos after the jump)
