Fatal Pedestrian Crash in Riverside Kills Moreno Valley Woman

PERRIS, CA (June 25, 2021) – Late Tuesday morning, 67-year-old Olinda Limache-Abregu was killed in a pedestrian accident on Perris Street.

According to the Riverside County Officials, the incident occurred around 11:00 a.m., just south of Redlands Avenue. Dispatchers arrived on Rider Street shortly after.

Upon arrival, the paramedics attempted life-saving measures on the female pedestrian. However, due to the extent of her condition, she was later pronounced dead.

Eventually, the officials identified the victim as 67-year-old Olinda Limache-Abregu of Moreno Valley.

Investigators later determined that a 2003 Honda CRV struck the woman while walking in an unknown direction.

Deputies questioned the driver of the involved vehicle, but did not make any arrests. At this time, the Riverside Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatal accident.
