Old Town Pasadena is kicking off its second annual Happy Hour Week on Thursday, March 1. And much like an extension of happy hour, the “week” will run for two weeks, until March 15.

Participating restaurants, bars and lounges are set to offer cheap items such as $1 martinis, $2 beers and $3 appetizers. The recently opened Dog Haus Biergarten will sell sliders and fries for $1 and lots o' drinks for $3 between 3 and 7 p.m., Monday through Friday.

For those looking to imbibe classy beverages while on a budget, Vertical Wine and Bistro will offer select mixed drinks for $7, including the Kir Vertical (Champagne with essence of elderflower and mint). Happy hour lasts all day on Sundays, 5-7 p.m. and 10 p.m.-12 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday and 5-7 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.

Haven Gastropub is set to serve a few of its appetizer plates and small courses at a discount, including homemade potato chips for $4 and mac & cheese for $8. Their late-night happy hour runs 11 p.m. until 1 a.m., Sunday through Thursday.
