Collision on 405 Freeway South of Manchester Boulevard Left CHP Officer Injured

INGLEWOOD, CA (December 20, 2021) – A traffic collision in 405 Freeway injured CHP motorcycle officer Stephan Brandt Sunday evening.

The incident occurred just before 7 p.m. on 405 southbound, just south of Manchester Boulevard.

According to the first responders, the officer sustained moderate to minor injuries. Paramedics eventually transported him to a local hospital.

Furthermore, the police pointed out that the involved drivers in the collision on 405 Freeway, remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.

Meanwhile, officials issued a SigAlert around 7:03 p.m. shutting down number 3, 4, and 5 lanes of the 405 Freeway.
