CHP Cruiser Involved in Traffic Accident on Orchard Street

FRESNO, CA (June 24, 2022) – Early Wednesday morning, an unnamed officer sustained injuries in a two-car crash on Huntington Boulevard.

The incident occurred around 6:45 a.m., at the intersection of Huntington Boulevard and Orchard Street.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the driver of a vehicle failed to yield to a patrol car at an “uncontrolled intersection.”

Furthermore, responding paramedics then rushed the officer to a nearby hospital with complaints of pain. Meanwhile, the other driver did not suffer injuries from the accident.

At this time, Fresno officials are working to identify the circumstances surrounding the crash.
